Over three days, participants will engage in plenary lectures, the specialised MicroSATELLITE Symposium, and interactive workshops on risk stratification, novel biomarkers, and the latest guidelines for Lynch syndrome management. The programme features abstract-driven sessions showcasing cutting-edge research from leading European centres, alongside dedicated networking events that underscore the group’s commitment to advancing prevention, diagnosis, and personalised treatment strategies in hereditary cancers.

How is Lynch Syndrome UK contributing?

On Sunday, the Lynch syndrome community will take centre stage, not as subjects of research, but as co-creators of knowledge and change. Patient advocates like Georgina Hoffmann and Tracy Smith, who will share their deeply personal stories that underscore the urgency of better psychosocial support, clearer decision-making tools, and more inclusive care pathways. Alongside them, researchers will present compelling data on modifiable lifestyle factors—such as diet, exercise, and stress management, that could influence cancer risk, bridging the gap between lived experience and scientific insight.

The session will reminded everyone in the room that progress in hereditary cancer care must be shaped by those who live it every day.
